In any case, humans are living in the information age! We have a ton of data to work with and choose from, with more and more questions about how to validate sources and wade through the volumes. I heard someone reflect on a reading that asserted a single news magazine contains more information than was transmitted in an entire year during the 1700s... I don't know the source of this comment, looking for it with search terms similar to the words I used there yields a vast number of potentials! E.g. The Atlantic: The Age of Social Transformation and The Chronicle of Higher Education: Information Overload Then and Now
instead I just demonstrated how easy it is to get sidetracked in this day and age 😉

Funny thing is this post was actually intended to share ways of avoiding information overload, namely with this a useful piece about 7 Ways to Fight Information Overload & Save 10 Hours per Monthinstead I just demonstrated how easy it is to get sidetracked in this day and age 😉
